Bachelors/Master in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • To develop and implement the appropriate technical standards in innovation and renovation of products.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Product application trials on new products.
  • Development of products and new markets.
  • Customer training.
  • On site testing and evaluation of products as required by clients.
  • New product development for butchers and large factories in the interests of generating new markets.
  • Liaising with customers along with Senior Food Technologists.
  • Technical advisory services to butchers including consulting on product quality.
  • Production capacities and efficiencies.
  • Implementation of quality control/assurance systems in order to increase production output and shelf life of products.
  • Researching potential new markets for new business.
  • Analyzing and reporting on sales leads linked to clients.
